Event Funding applications open

Our latest round of Event Funding is now open, to help support and grow the Territory’s events sector.

Community Event funding up to $30,000 is available for events that share the Territory’s rich history and culture, and make the NT an even more enjoyable place to live.

Event Development funding from $30,000 to $100,000 is available for events that attract new audiences and encourage people to visit the Territory.

These events are also likely to help increase the skills of Territorians and the capacity of the local events industry.

“Our events and festivals sector plays a vital role in the Territory, providing opportunities for Territorians to not only attend a range of events, but also to upskill by taking part in them. Our varied calendar of events also encourages people to choose the NT as a holiday destination,” Northern Territory Major Events CEO Tim Watsford said.

“As one of the first places in Australia to welcome back live events in line with COVID-19 restrictions, events are now more important to our economy than ever before.”
