Round 1 of the Northern Territory Government’s Event Funding Program (EFP) will open on Monday 15 July 2024 and close Friday 9 August 2024.
Our funding program supports a wide variety of events, including cultural days, music festivals, major sporting events and special interest events that drive tourism in the Northern Territory.
The EFP has three categories you can apply for: Cultural Event, Sport Event and Aboriginal Cultural Event. You can specify your category in the application.
Information sessions are planned for Alice Springs on Tuesday 9 July and Darwin on Thursday 11 July. To make it easier for event organisers, the Darwin session will include a representative from the Community Benefit Fund to explain guidelines for both funding streams.
