Massive 22 artists on the line-up for BASSINTHEGRASS 2024!

The wait is over! The full line-up for BASSINTHEGRASS at Darwin’s iconic Mindil Beach on Saturday, 18 May 2024, has dropped and is bigger than ever!

Joining US Grammy Award-winning rapper Macklemore are some of the most sought-after Australian and international artists around.

The Territory’s biggest music festival is set for a shake-up in 2024, with a wider selection of music genres on the bill. That includes a number of electronic dance music artists, who will take over a new 360-style stage, BASSment.

Including Macklemore, BASSINTHEGRASS will welcome a massive 22 artists to Darwin in 2024, the majority of which have never performed at the festival before. They are, in alphabetical order:

The Jungle Giants’ Sam Hales said he was pumped to be headed back to the NT for BASSINTHEGRASS.

“It’s one of my fav festivals to play. The line-up is always huge and Darwin goes its own special kind of wild. Will most likely be staying for a writing trip somewhere in the desert.”

Local artists and more will be announced nearer the time.

Born and bred in Darwin Vassy, now based in Los Angeles, said she is looking forward to performing at home.

“It gives me so much joy to come back home to perform for my hometown and to support my local community by showcasing local talent in my show line-up,” she said.

“I hope to inspire local NT kids that you can be from a small town like Darwin but still dream big and pursue your dreams! I certainly wish I had that growing up in Darwin when I was a kid, to know that anything is possible if you believe in you!”

BASSINTHEGRASS is an all-ages music festival, with children aged 13 and under free to attend with a paying adult.

Next year’s event includes new premium packages to take the BASSINTHEGRASS experience to the next level. They include The Terrace, an exclusive hosted experience on a raised platform close to the stage; Oasis, with side-of-stage views from under the trees; and ReFresh, a place to take a break and beat the queues.
