Red CentreNATS 06 program revealed and tickets launched

The streets of Alice Springs will soon be filled with vehicles of all makes and models, with Red CentreNATS returning to the heart of Australia from 4-6 September 2020. Widely known as the ‘ultimate festival of wheels’, the iconic event features a refreshed program and ticketing structure for 2020. As well as the much-loved street parade, Red CentreNATS 06 will showcase drags, burnouts, street cruising, grass driving, a show ‘n’ shine, 4WD-ing, motorkhana and much more.

Red CentreNATS is also the only event in Australia where motorists can drive highly modified, unregistered cars on the streets, giving entrants with a Temporary Registration Permit the chance to enjoy various cruise routes around Alice Springs.

Event goers will have access to entertainment across three different venues in 2020, with adrenaline-pumping action on show at Blatherskite Park, Alice Springs Inland Dragway (ASID) and Lasseter’s Hotel Casino.

Northern Territory Major Events Company Chief Executive Officer Tim Watsford said Red CentreNATS 06 was shaping up to be another fantastic event, following the huge success of the 2019 instalment that attracted more than 860 entries from around Australia.

We are stoked this much-loved car festival can go ahead in 2020, and cannot wait to welcome our Red CentreNATS family back to Alice Springs for an amazing weekend of motorsport.

While Red CentreNATS 06 will look a little different to previous years, there will still be plenty of exciting action for locals and visitors to enjoy in September.

The Northern Territory Government has done an awesome job preparing for a COVID-19 safe event, and Red CentreNATS will be a fantastic festival for those Aussie motoring enthusiasts who can get themselves and their cars to Alice Springs safely.

We’ll be streaming hours of action from the festival for those around Australia and the world who can’t join us this year.
