Tickets on sale for Darwin's NRL Anzac Round Clash

The countdown is on for the Parramatta Eels vs Brisbane Broncos blockbuster match in Darwin, with tickets going on sale today for the much-anticipated game.

Set to be held in Darwin, the prestigious Anzac Round match is expected to draw both local and interstate footy fans to the Top End.

It holds particular importance in the Top End, which was heavily bombed during World War II, and is the frontline of Australia’s defence.

Parramatta Eels CEO Jim Sarantinos said the team was looking forward to the match in the Top End.

“We’re thrilled to be back in Darwin after missing out last year, especially to mark the Anzac Day long weekend,” he said.

“We look forward to having our Territory Eels fans back in the stands.”

The game is taking place in the Territory thanks to the Northern Territory Government’s partnership with the Eels, which has been extended to 2022.

As well as bringing world-class sport to Darwin, the partnership sees the Eels promote Territory tourism at interstate games and through their digital channels.

The match will take place at 7.25pm on 23 April 2021 at TIO Stadium, and will air nationally on Channel 9.

Tickets can be purchased from http://premier.ticketek.com.au/shows/show.aspx?sh=PARRABRO21 from midday.
