Countdown is on for Red Centre’s Wide Open Space Festival

Popular Red Centre festival Wide Open Space (WOS) will return to the Red Centre next month, featuring a swag of Territory and national artists as well as a diverse range of performances, arts, workshops, and desert culture.

Supported by the Northern Territory Government through Northern Territory Major Events Company (NTMEC), WOS will take place from Friday, 3 May to Sunday, 5 May, 2024 at Ross River Resort in beautiful Arrernte Country.

International act Ashez will be joined by other headliners including Ungus Ungus Ungus, Pookie, RONA., Christopher Coe (Live) and Amaru Tribe, as well as a wide variety of local and interstate bands and DJs, showcasing the diversity of Australia’s music scene.

WOS showcases a range of subcultures, styles and sounds, from cutting-edge electronic to live hip hop, deep acoustic meditations, and innovative music from around the world. Festival-goers will also enjoy burlesque, cabaret, spoken word, panel discussions, a themed garden party, interactive installations, roving performances, and more.

The festival’s picturesque setting at Ross River Resort offers camping onsite, safe kids’ spaces, amazing food stalls, market stalls, amenities, a pool, a historical homestead, and plenty of shady areas to relax and take in the spectacular views.
