Event Funding Program

Round 1 of the Northern Territory Government’s Event Funding Program (EFP) will open at 8am on Monday, 14 July and close at 5pm on Friday, 8 August.

Our funding program supports a wide variety of events, including music festivals, major sporting events and cultural events that drive tourism in the Northern Territory.

Event organisers can apply under one of three tiers:

• Flagship – Events that deliver strong economic outcomes
• Signature – Events focused on capability-building and development
• Community – Events that celebrate the uniqueness of the Territory

An information session is planned for Darwin on Thursday, 10 July from 5pm to 6pm, with the option for those not in Darwin to attend virtually. To assist event organisers, a representative from the Community Benefit Fund will be at the session to explain their guidelines.
